ARTC Startup Challenge 2022

StartupX is partnering with Advanced Remanufacturing & Technology Centre (ARTC) to recruit global, high-potential startups for the A*STAR Advanced Manufacturing Startup Challenge 2022. This challenge was launched at the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology 2021, with the aim to drive innovation in the advanced manufacturing sector centering on Automation 4.0 technologies with the potential to address the following industry challenges.

Smart Packaging

How can we intelligently perform order picking and packaging in a smart, efficient, and accurate manner?

Smart Manufacturing

How might we optimize the planning of production lines so that it is flexible, agile, and sustainable in the long-run?

Smart Inspection

How might we automatically capture a 360-degree image of industrial manufacturing components sufficient enough for smart inspection?

Be part of the solution and join us to gain the opportunity to work with top global corporations, leverage Singapore's government networks, resources and tools to drive solution development and adoption.

Programme Highlights

Exclusive access to top global corporates, resources, and tools

Winning team of each challenge statement will be offered a 2 year ARTC membership. Top 2 teams of each challenge statement will be awarded S$100,000 in A*STAR Innovation Voucher, and provided access to A*STAR’ s scientists and engineers, technology resources and facilities for prototyping, and co-innovate solutions with corporate partners.

Global profiling to key industry stakeholders

Gain the opportunity to showcase solutions to industry leaders and corporates at the Pitch Day, and receive first-hand feedback from top industry leaders before commercialisation of products.

Receive funding, mentorship, and dedicated support

The winner of each challenge will have the opportunity to embark on a 4-month accelerator programme, be mentored by industry experts, and leverage on A*STAR and ARTC’s facilities and resources to engage in POC development. 1st prize winner for each challenge will receive S$50,000 in prize money, to further their development.
